We only collect, store or use information that we consider necessary for the purpose of providing the best service possible to all of our customers. We collect information in three ways including directly from the user, from our web server logs, and through cookies.

When you use our site to nominate yourself or an individual, you need to provide various types of personal information such as full name, e-mail address, contact number, educational achievements etc. This information helps us to determine and rank your nomination with other nominations from the same category.

2. Use

We use information from our web server logs and cookies to provide you with a personalised Internet or mobile application experience that delivers the information, resources, and services that are most relevant and helpful to you. In addition we may use the information to resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; enforce our policies; measure interest in our services; inform users about services and updates in addition to communicating marketing and promotional offers to you.

We do not share with others any of the information you provide, unless we say so in this Privacy Statement, or when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

We never sell or rent personal information to third parties. We only disclose select information to our list of respected judges who will review short-listed nominations to determine one winner across every category. We may also be compelled to disclose certain information by law or in response to a valid, legally compliant request by a law enforcement or governmental authority.

We shall not disclose any information about your usage of the Asian Professional Awards or any other awards or services provided by Prestigious Awards Ltd to unaffiliated third parties, except to enforce the terms of use, to meet our obligations to content and technology providers, or as required by law.

The website for the Asian Professional Awards, www.AsianAwards.co.uk, uses cookies to identify repeat visitors. We protect your privacy by only storing a simple ID number and token string that is only meaningful to this website. Your personal details, such as your name or phone number, are not stored in a cookie. You may set your computer browser to reject cookies but this may preclude your use of certain parts of the website.

5. Retention

We shall retain your personal information only as long as is necessary for the purposes to which you consent under this Privacy Policy, after which we shall delete it from our systems.

If you require a copy of the information we have concerning you, please send us an email and make a payment of £10 made payable to Prestigious Awards Limited. We are entitled to charge you this fee to cover our administrative costs. Our security procedures mean that we may ask for proof of your identity before we disclose information about you, or to you, either via email or over the telephone.
