Professional Achievements:

Yu Jordy Fu is the co-founder and Creative Director for Marques and Jordy - a multidisciplinary design company,oversees large scale architecture and design projects in Asia (www.marquesandjordy.com). Jordy is also the Creative Director for the world's biggest fashion media company FTV(www.ftv.com). Jordy is the first ever Chinese designer invited to speak at the TED conference (www.ted.com).

Jordy had her first solo art exhibition at Beijing Capital Museum at age of six, and published her first book at seven years old. She graduated from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design with a first-class degree in Spatial Design, then received a Master of Arts in Architecture and Interiors from Royal College of Art. In 2005, Jordy was chosen by the British Council to be one of the ten young designers representing creativity in UK touring exhibiting in China. Jordy exhibited at some of the most influential exhibitions in the world such as the Venice Biennial, Milan International Furniture Fair, 100% Design London, London fashion week, Hamburg Art Week, Hongkong arts center, Seoul Arts Center. Jordy is a London Southbank Centre commission artist and commission designer at London Design Museum, she is also an commission artist for French Luxury brand Hermes. Jordy was invited to speak at four TED events in Shanghai, Nanjing, Tokyo and Long Beach, USA. Jordy's current work including a 5 kilo meter square master plan project, over a million square meters of retail and residential projects China and two HOTELS IN Bali, Indonesia.

Before setting up her own design practice, Jordy worked at the London office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (www.som.com) as a senior design architect on large scale architecture and master plan projects in the middle east.

Jordy's dream is to make this world a better place through art, design and architecture; she is also passionate in working with a few animal charities on Animal welfare projects in Asia.
