Brief life sketch of Sri Fulendra Chaudhary, Secretary,
Baba Baidyanath Balika Mook Badhir vidyalaya, Ghosi Tola, Munger Bihar, (India)

Sri Fulendra Chaudhary was born on 5th January, 1962 at village, Budhora falling under the district of Munger (New Khagaria).

Sri Chaudhary was born at a vaishya family and the chief occupation of this family was business. The deceased father of Sri Chaudhary was a worth counting name. He was a great singer cum artist which made him popular and widely known. Sri Chaudhary was and is sufficiently related to social work, Spirituality and music from his very childhood. His sonorous songs in “Maithali” as well as “Angika” coupled with “Sugam Sangeet” were at the zenith of appreciation for which he got training at his very village. He is a graduate and then he got himself absorbed in social work with dedication and utmost sincerity. Sri Chaudhary settled himself permanently in the year 1984, He witnessed here that disabled children, down trodden women and poverty stricken people were in grip of lots of balf fling problems which made Sri Chaudhary’s heart melt tremendously and Sri Chaudhary undertook to lesson their agony and grief by way of a well planned program and thus his adherence to this noble cause commenced. His further details are categorized as below:-

Sri Fulendra Chaudhary, the founder-cum-Secretary of Baba Baidhyanath Balika Mook Badhir Vidyalaya at Ghosi tola Munger (Bihar), is a mighty signature in the field of Social Work. His contribution to Social Service is unforgettable and covers multidimensional fields. Sri Chaudhary has ever introduced his penetrating focus on the pitiable condition of the handicapped. In the eyes of Sri Chaudhary the handicapped are but a curse for mankind but their curse turns to be a flowering blessing when such people cease to be beggars and discarded. They become self-dependent and exhibit their potentiality for the sake of betterment of society and the nation. For the upliftment of the handicapped and bringing them into the social setup he laid special emphasis towards their education-cum-vocational training. Sri Chaudhary shouldered the responsibility to make them literate and independent, more especially, when there was no school for education, vocational training and rehabilitation for the deaf-dumb (hearing handicapped) girls in the state of Bihar.

Sri Chaudhary converted his aforesaid institution into a residential school where pious work is going on since 26 January 1986 by way of imparting education, food, cloth, medical facility technical and vocational training to the 70 poor hearing handicapped girls free of cost. For their mental health yoga training is also imparted to them.

To educate the normal children is comparatively not so hilarious but to bring the deaf-dumb girls in the world of education is surely a herculion task and Sri Chaudhary has made it a success.

The seed of social service in the heart of Sri Chaudhary germinated in Deoghar (Now Jharkhand) wherein he had gone to worship Lord Shiva. By witnessing the pitiable conditions of two-three deaf-dumb (hearing handicapped) girls in Baba Baidyanath temple Sri Chaudhary’s heart melted and from that day onwards he vowed to make them and others emancipated from their hellish life. This institution was registered by the Govt. of Bihar under the society Registration Act 21, 1860. And also by the Govt. of India under FCRA 1976, Home Ministry, New Delhi Income Tax Act, 1961 and also under section 52 of PWD Act, 1995.
