Cynthia has dual-qualifications in England and Wales and Hong Kong. She began her legal career in Hong Kong at Baker & McKenzie and moved to London in 1999. Since joining PwC Legal in 2001, She has been part of a core team of senior lawyers who specialise in cross-border reorganisation and refinancing projects, often working alongside specialists in PwC in tax and accounting.

Cynthia also leads the China Business Group within PwC Legal, helping state-owned and top-tier private Chinese companies investing in the UK and the rest of Europe through acquisitions or joint ventures. She SPEAKS FLUENT ENGLISH, Mandarin and Cantonese and is experienced in bilingual negotiations and drafting.
